- Congratulations to Priyanka V, a first-year M.Tech student in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Tirupati, has been selected for the prestigious DAAD KOSPIE scholarship to pursue a fully funded international research internship in Germany. Priyanka will be working on a project titled "Piezoelectric Glycosaminoglycan Hydrogels for Cardiac Tissue Regeneration” at TU Darmstadt. The internship will span seven months, from September 2025 to March 2026.
- Congratulations to Aparna Surendran Nair, a first-year M.Tech student in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Tirupati, has been selected for the prestigious Khorana Program for Scholars 2025. As part of this prestigious program, Aparna will pursue a summer research internship at Purdue University, USA.
- Congratulations to Gnaneshwar Sampathirao, a M.S. Research scholar in the Department of Chemical Engineering, has been awarded a poster presentation award at the Shaping the Energy Future: Challenges & Opportunities (SEFCO-2025) conference, held from April 23–25, Engineering Data (JCED).
- Congratulations to Joseph Abhisheka Rao Boravelli, a Ph.D. research scholar in the Department of Chemical Engineering, has been selected as a member of the Early Career Board (ECB) for the American Chemical Society’s (ACS) Journal of Chemical & Engineering Data (JCED).
- Congratulations to Naijo Areekal, a Ph.D. scholar in Chemical Engineering, has been awarded the prestigious AFST(I) Travel Grant Award, along with a Springer voucher worth 300 euros, during the 30th Indian Convention of Food Scientists & Technologists, held at the D Y Patil University, School of Medicine, Navi Mumbai, from 19th to 21st December 2024.
- Congratulations to Vinith J, Ph.D. Research Scholar from the department of Chemical Engineering, working under the supervision of Dr. S Uday Kumar was selected for the prestigious DAAD Bi-nationally supervised doctoral degree scholarship for the 2024 -2025 session and he will be working at RWTH Aachen University.
- Congratulations to Prashant Kumar, Ph.D. Research Scholar from the Department of Chemical Engineering under the guidance of Dr. Trivikram Nallamili was awarded the prestigious DAAD Fellowship through the Bi-nationally Supervised PhD Program. As part of this fellowship, he will be working at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany, specifically in the Institute of Food Science and One Health.
- Congratulations to Vivek Gupta, Ph.D. Research Scholar from the Department of Chemical Engineering got the Honourable Mention Graduate Student Poster Competition Award at the 26th Food Innovation Asia Conference 2024 at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand.
- Congratulations to Mohammad Irfan, received “Best Oral Presentation Award” from International Conference on Separation and Purification Technologies (ICSPT-2023) held on Dec 7th – 8 th , 2023, at IIT Patna.
- Congratulations to Chinthalapudi Naga Lakshmi, received “Best Oral Presentation Award” from Indian Chemical Engineering Congress (CHEMCON-2022), International Conference on sustainability in chemical processes through digitalization, Artificial intelligence and green chemistry held on Dec 27th – 30th, 2022, at HBTU, Kanpur.
